Scan booking is the platform's original service. You search by scan type and location, compare centres on price, distance and rating, pick a slot from the centre's live calendar, and pay online. The centre sees the appointment the moment payment clears, and the radiologist's report comes back to My Reports.
Worth knowing first
Search and pricing are open — no account needed until you are ready to hold a slot.
Slots come from the centre's own calendar, so what you see is what is actually free.
Once the radiologist signs off, the report lands in My Reports and in your Health Vault.
Step by step
Patient: You need an MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound and want to know what it costs before booking.
- 1Search
Enter the scan you need and where you are. Results list nearby centres with price, distance, rating and the machines they run.
- 2Open a centre
Read reviews, check accreditation and see the full price list. Nothing is charged for looking.
- 3Pick a slot
Choose a date and time from the centre's live calendar. The slot is held while you check out.
- 4Add to cart and check out
Multiple scans and lab tests can ride in one cart. Sign in at this point if you have not already.
- 5Pay
Pay through Razorpay. The booking is only confirmed after the gateway signature verifies — a failed payment leaves no appointment behind.
- 6Attend
Carry the booking reference. The centre already has your appointment on its list.
- 7Collect the report
The radiologist's report appears under My Reports, usually with an AI preliminary read first and the signed impression after.
Good to know
- You can search and compare without an account. Signing in is only required to hold a slot and pay.
- A booking is confirmed by the payment gateway's signature, not by clicking pay — if payment fails, no slot is held.
- Some scans require preparation (fasting, no metal, contrast consent). The centre's listing states it before you book.
- Reports are published only after a radiologist signs; the AI read shown before that is explicitly labelled preliminary.
How money moves
The price shown in search is the price charged. Payment is captured by Razorpay at checkout and settled to the centre; a membership plan can discount it before checkout.
