Radiologist
Read the scans partner hospitals and centres send to ScanSureX, starting from an AI preliminary read, and sign the report that reaches the patient.
We review your applicationAbout this programme
Hospitals and diagnostic centres on ScanSureX send their studies for reporting. Each study is routed by modality and body part, gets an AI preliminary read that is clearly labelled as such, and then waits for a radiologist. You read it in the browser-based viewer, write the impression, and sign. Your signature — not the model — is what publishes the report to the patient and back into the centre's own system.
Worth knowing first
Every study arrives with a preliminary read and structured evidence. It is a starting point you can accept, edit or discard; nothing reaches a patient until you sign.
Set yourself available and cases matching your modalities are assigned to your queue. Set yourself unavailable and open cases return safely to the pool.
Rate offers per study type arrive in the portal. You accept or decline each one; a payout is declared before you read.
Signing up
You are a radiologist joining the platform, on the B2B portal under /radiologist.
- 1Create your account
Full name, email and a password. A verification code is sent to your email; the account opens once you enter it.
- 2Describe your practice
Primary specialty, the modalities you read (for example MRI, CT, X-ray), and years of experience. Cases are matched on these.
- 3Enter your certification
Certification number and the authority that issued it. This is what a ScanSureX administrator verifies.
- 4Wait for verification
Your profile shows Pending until an administrator approves it. Registration alone assigns nothing; verification is what lets cases reach you.
- 5Go available
Set your operational status to Available. Only available, verified radiologists are picked by the allocation queue.
Day to day
You are working your queue in the radiologist dashboard.
- 1See open cases
Assigned studies appear with the modality, the study and the centre. Your dashboard counts open and completed cases and active slots.
- 2Open the study
Launch the viewer for a case assigned to you. The server refuses a launch for any case you are not working.
- 3Start from the AI read
The preliminary read and its evidence are on screen. Confirm, correct or replace them.
- 4Write and sign
Finalising the report is the signature. It publishes to the patient's My Reports and Health Vault and back to the centre.
- 5Answer rate offers
When a centre enables a new study type, a rate offer appears. Accept to start receiving those cases, or decline.
- 6Step away safely
Set Unavailable before you leave. Cases still assigned to you are returned to the queue rather than stranded.
Good to know
- Registration is not verification — a Pending radiologist receives no cases.
- Only your assigned cases can be opened in the viewer; the server refuses any other launch.
- Nothing is published to a patient on the AI read alone. The report goes out when you sign it.
- Setting yourself Unavailable releases your open assignments back to the queue.
- Your certification number is checked by a person, not by the form.
How money moves
The platform declares a radiologist payout for each study type a centre enables and sends you a rate offer. You accept or decline; accepted rates apply to the cases assigned to you.
