Be the clinical check on the medicine marketplace — verify every product before it can be sold and review every prescription before it is dispensed.

Registering is free. The verification queues open once a ScanSureX administrator approves your documents.

About this programme

This is a compliance role, not a sales one. Nothing in the ScanSureX catalogue becomes sellable without a registered pharmacist verifying it clinically — over-the-counter items included — and no prescription-only medicine leaves a shop until a pharmacist has approved the prescription behind it. You also hold the power to block a batch outright, which takes it out of every shop's reach at once.

Worth knowing first

The catalogue gate

Every product a chemist submits waits on your clinical checklist before an admin can even consider approving it.

The prescription gate

Prescription-only medicine cannot be ordered until you approve the prescription — whether it was written on ScanSureX or uploaded by the patient.

Recall authority

Blocking a batch makes it undispensable immediately, everywhere.

Signing up

You are a registered pharmacist, in the pharmacist portal on port 3006.

  1. 1
    Register

Council registration number, the issuing council, its expiry date and your qualification, with your phone and email.

  2. 2
Expect a code on every sign-in

This portal emails a six-digit one-time code at every login, not just the first. It is a dispensing-authority account.

  3. 3
    Upload three documents

Registration certificate, degree certificate and photo ID. The platform refuses to approve you if any is missing.

  4. 4
    Get approved

An administrator reviews the documents against a checklist and writes review notes. Approval is what opens the queues.

Day to day

You are working the verification queues.

  1. 1
    Verify products

Chemists submit products with an image and a real description. You check each against the clinical checklist. Until you do, it cannot be sold — and this applies to over-the-counter items too.

  2. 2
    Hand on to the admin

Your verification is necessary but not sufficient: an administrator still approves the product before it goes active in the catalogue.

  3. 3
    Review prescriptions

Approve or reject prescriptions attached to orders. Your decision is the gate on dispensing.

  4. 4
    Block what is unsafe

Recalled or unsafe batches are blocked and become undispensable across the platform at once.

Good to know

  • Every login needs the emailed one-time code — there is no remember-this-device.
  • Product verification is required even for over-the-counter medicine.
  • Your verification does not publish a product; an admin approval still follows.
  • Prescription approval gates dispensing for prescriptions written on the platform as well as uploaded ones.
  • Your council registration must still be live — an expired registration stops the dispensing it authorises.

How money moves

A compliance role, not a selling one

A pharmacist does not list or sell products on ScanSureX and takes no share of an order. The role exists to gate the catalogue and the prescriptions behind it.

Questions

Can I reject a product outright?
Yes. An unverified product never reaches the catalogue, and the chemist sees the outcome.
Do I see the patient's identity on a prescription?
You see what you need to review it clinically; the platform records that you did.
What happens when my registration expires?
The authority it carries lapses with it. Keep the expiry date current in your profile.
